604-8G horn models

I recently saw a 604-8G with small hex socket screws on the inside of the horn attaching the horn mouth to the the throat(segmented horn type).
My 604-8Gs have the adhesive attachment type mouths. Which is more common?

Interesting, you're one up on me, I've only seen screw mounted on the original large horns, but then the 'E' was the last model I'm physically familiar with.
